Time to Evaluate

Protect yourself from negative people and voices, and surround yourself with wise individuals and voices.

I have often heard of these two quotes-

“You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with and spend the most time with”

“Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future”

What the Bible has to say-

Iron sharpen iron…Proverbs 27:17
Walk with the wise and become wise…Proverbs 13:20
The friends of the fool will be destroyed…Proverbs 13:20
Bad company corrupts good character…1 Corinthians 15:33

Take time to evaluate your relationships. Hold tight to those that are helpful; release those that are toxic and meant to derail you. You can ask the Holy Spirit to show you the next right steps in each relationship you have.
